About Me.

Hello! I’m Vikas Muluk, the founder of Fire Escape Plans.com and Evacuation Diagram.com. With over 20 years of experience in civil engineering, architectural drawing, and fire safety drawings, I’ve dedicated my career to helping businesses and trade partners create accurate, professional, and practical evacuation diagrams and building plans.

My journey began with a passion for technical drawing and building design, which led me to pursue multiple qualifications in civil engineering. These qualifications have been invaluable in building our fire safety drawing and real estate floor plan business. Because I personally studied and practiced these skills in-depth, I fully understand what clients need, how to communicate it effectively, and how to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.

Over the years, I’ve partnered with highly educated and professional trade partners, giving our clients the confidence that every project will be handled with expertise and precision. My hands-on education and training allow me to.

Completed a 4-Year

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU),

a UGC-recognized public university in India.

Completed a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, gaining comprehensive knowledge in structural design, architectural drafting, and real estate floor planning. Developed strong expertise in civil and architectural drawings, enabling the creation of accurate, detailed, and professional drawings for small residential projects, including:

  • Architectural Drawing

  • Centerline plans

  • Section plans

  • Plumbing and electrical layouts

  • Complete architectural-style building plans

These skills have also been instrumental in producing precise and compliant fire safety and evacuation diagrams. Acquired advanced abilities in site planning, blueprint interpretation, and construction documentation, allowing the delivery of professional, practical building plans for a wide range of clients.

Completed 2-Year Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering

from Dnyaneshwar Vidyapeeth

Acquired a solid foundation in civil engineering principles, structural design, and construction planning. Gained hands-on experience in technical drafting, site layout, and project documentation, which laid the groundwork for expertise in fire safety and evacuation diagram design. Developed strong problem-solving and analytical skills essential for accurate and compliant building plans.

Completed 3-Year

Diploma in Civil Engineering (MSBTE – Maharashtra State

Board of Technical Education).

Pursued a second diploma in civil engineering to gain a government-certified qualification, building on prior private university studies. Excelled in structural design, technical drafting, and construction planning, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Developed advanced civil drawing expertise, which has been instrumental in delivering precise and compliant evacuation diagrams and fire safety plans.

Completed 1-Year Advanced Vocational Certification in Architectural / Civil Draughtsmanship under NCTVT (National Council of Training in Vocational Trades),

Mr. Vikas Muluk, the leader of FirePlan, is one of the most trusted names in the fire safety drawing industry.

A B.E. Civil Engineer by qualification, he brings over 20 years of strong experience in fire protection plans and evacuation plans.

After completing his Civil Engineering Diploma in 2004, he began his career as a Fire Safety Drawing Specialist, working as a subcontractor to provide evacuation plans to a leading fire protection drawing company. Within just one year, Vikas established himself as a committed professional with strong technical expertise. Building on this growth and confidence, he took the next step in 2005 by launching his own independent business.

In 2005, with just a single table and a clear vision to provide high-quality, reliable, and compliant fire safety design services, Vikas founded FirePlan. Today, under his leadership, the company has grown into a modern 1000 sq. ft. design facility serving clients across multiple countries.

Vikas is well-known for his commitment to innovation, precision, and strict compliance. His strong understanding of global fire safety standards enables him to deliver highly accurate, detailed, and technically sound fire protection plans for clients worldwide.

In the early years of his journey, many companies that are now well-recognized in the evacuation plan industry received design support from Vikas and his team. This contribution helped position FirePlan as one of the most trusted trade suppliers of customized fire safety plans in the world.

For Vikas, fire protection design is not just a profession — it is a family legacy.
Every evacuation diagram created under his leadership follows strict fire safety standards, engineering accuracy, and attention to detail —
because for us, it’s not just a map — it’s about saving lives.

Outside of work, Vikas enjoys spending quality time with his child and family and often reconnects with his hometown roots. Every weekend, he meets with close friends over tea, sharing conversations, laughter, and enjoying a couple of favorite songs together—simple moments that keep him grounded and inspired.

Mrs. Tanuja Muluk is one of the strongest pillars of FirePlan and the driving force behind the company’s design accuracy and quality standards. A B.E. Civil Engineer with over a decade of experience, she leads FirePlan’s entire design and quality control operations with unmatched precision and technical mastery.

After completing her Civil Engineering degree, she trained closely under the senior expertise of Mr. Vikas Muluk, gaining deep insight into fire safety drawings, fire protection plans, and international evacuation diagram standards. Through exceptional dedication and disciplined learning, Tanuja mastered advanced design software, international compliance requirements, and the intricate technical processes involved in fire safety planning.

Recognized for her precision, patience, and clarity of understanding, Tanuja stands out as a rare talent in the fire protection design industry. Her technical strength, attention to detail, and consistency in delivering compliant, high-quality drawings make her one of the most invaluable assets of FirePlan.

Today, Tanuja not only manages but confidently leads the entire design team. She oversees every fire evacuation plan and fire protection plan project, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery for clients across multiple countries.

With a professional background as a Deck Cadet Officer, he has travelled extensively across multiple countries by sea, gaining real-world exposure to international safety systems, global standards, and multicultural working environments. This international experience gives Abhijit a unique ability to understand and communicate the importance of compliant fire safety plans and evacuation diagrams to fire protection companies worldwide.

One of Abhijit’s greatest strengths is his ability to simplify complex fire safety concepts and present them in a clear, business-focused manner. His communication skills, confidence, and global awareness make him one of the strongest assets of FirePlan. He plays a key role in educating international clients on the value of accurate, compliant fire protection plans and supports them throughout their project requirements.

Abhijit’s strategic contributions in marketing, global client coordination, and trade partnerships have been instrumental in building FirePlan’s reputation as a trusted design partner for companies across various countries. Beyond his professional role, Abhijit is also a passionate bodybuilder and a recognised fitness model in his region. He maintains a strict training routine, dedicating 2 to 3 hours every day to fitness — showcasing the same determination, consistency, and focus that he applies to FirePlan’s global success.
